Tues 21st May 6.00 pm
Riverside History Walk. A two-mile walk around Burton's Washlands, organised by BCV for the Walking Festival. Meet at Meadowside Leisure Centre.

Sat 25th May 10.00 am
Washlands to Walton BCV Walk. BCV's annual 12-mile walk, part of the National Forest Walking Festival. A flat circular walk along the Trent to Walton Bridge, lunch stop at Barton Marina, then return along the Trent & Mersey Canal. Lots of Burton Conservation Volunteers projects to view along the way, plus new and established nature reserves close to Burton. Option to return by bus after the first half of the walk. Meet at the Burton Mail Woodland car park (free of charge) accessed from the end of Watson Street (grid ref. SK 250 220).

Mon 27th May 1.30 pm
Four Parishes Walk. A 6-mile Staffordshire Wildlife Trust walk, led by Lawrence for the Walking Festival, visiting some nature reserves around Burton. Meet at Shobnall Leisure Centre (top car park).

Tues 28th May 6.00 pm
Upper Mill History Walk. A two-mile guided walk, organised by BCV for the Walking Festival. Meet at the Burton Mail Woodland car park (free of charge) accessed from the end of Watson Street (grid ref. SK 250 220).

Wed 29th May 6.00 pm
Newton Solney and Winshill circular walk. A 3.5 mile walk, our final one for this year's Walking Festival. Meet at the Brickmakers Arms, Newton Solney.
